Jiaxing Jialin Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. recently launched the AIKO robotic stir-fry kitchen. The report describes it as the first fully implemented embodied cooking system on the market. NBA legend Stephon Marbury made a special visit to see how AI and robotics could improve everyday food service, an exchange the company hopes will support its international expansion.

At Future Technology Plaza, robotic arms work methodically inside AIKO’s transparent cooking enclosure. The report describes a fully automated sequence from ingredient selection, washing and preparation to cooking, serving and cookware cleaning, with hot Chinese stir-fries ready in three to four minutes. Instead of a conventional kitchen filled with fumes and busy chefs, visitors see a highly integrated smart cooking system.

AIKO draws on years of technical experience at Jiaxing Jialin Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. The company established a presence in Jiaxing National High-tech Zone in 2022 through the ‘Red Boat Cup’ Global Entrepreneurship Competition. It previously specialized in industrial robotics integration, developing automated production lines for photovoltaic, nuclear-industry and automotive-parts manufacturers. In 2024, the team applied that robotics expertise to consumer food service.

AIKO’s development followed extensive research into food service. Concerns about prepared meals and delivery-food safety have attracted public attention. The report states that AIKO addresses those concerns while offering strong output: its four woks can cook in parallel, with a typical dish taking three to four minutes and combined output averaging one dish per minute. Future upgrades were expected to bring that figure to one dish within 30 seconds. Inviting Stephon Marbury to visit was also part of the company’s effort to explore international markets.
